Illustrative Mathematics started with a promise which Bill McCallum made to provide tasks which elaborate the Common Core. It is now more of a community, of teachers, mathematicians and math educators, who work together to provide a variety of resources. Those include resources for professional learning, curriculum maps to guide high-school instruction, and both virtual and in-person opportunities to engage the community. In this "sit and get" I will give a tour of our efforts.
